DIY Zine-making Workshop with ‘Grrrl Zine’

22 April at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

£10 - £12
Grrrl Zine

Contemporary feminist zines are leading the way in championing activist agendas and encouraging craftivism and creativity to empower underrepresented voices. This workshop led by artist and curator of Grrrl Zine Fair, Lu Williams, offers the opportunity to create your own mini zine! The session will visually explore themes of intersectional feminism and gender equality associated with Dawn Rose Red. A small selection of the most exciting contemporary feminist zines within the travelling collection of Grrrl Zine Library will be be available for reference.

This workshop is open to all and we encourage respectful and compassionate discussion of topics of intersectional feminism. We aim to create a ‘safe space’ where people are encouraged to share their views and can freely create self published materials.

COST: £12 (£10 for OVADA Associates)
