Tutors: Roger Perkins, Cally Shadbolt, Luke Skiffington and Tommy Watkins

This experimental drawing course aims to investigate ideas and thought processes through discovering and exploring varied approaches to drawing. As the building block of all art and design, drawing can be used to access ideas that can then be developed into other media. Each of the tutors will bring a different approach but the experience will be cumulative and ideas and experimental approaches will build up over the 8 sessions. 3D and lens based approaches may be included alongside more conventional ideas of draughtsmanship and drawing from the subconscious.

“I got shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize. All thanks to OVADA for having brilliant tutors on the experimental drawing programme.”

Booking essential. For further information and to reserve a place please contact: classes@ovada.org.uk

Please note: the classes are normally held in our first floor learning space, accessed via stairs only. If this would prevent you from attending, please contact us in advance so that we can discuss individual requirements.
