Introduction to Social Media for Artists

This workshop is part of our new series of professional development workshops in collaboration with Magdalen Road Studios. The ‘Learn To’ workshops will equip you with essential digital skills to enable you to increase and develop your online presence as an artist.

 

This Social Media workshop will cover the basics of using Twitter, Facebook and other popular social marketing tools to effectively engage and promote your work and profile.

The workshop will cover the best social platforms for artists, as well as how to make the most of each. We will discuss topics such as how often to post and how to discover the best time to post.

Cost (includes Tea/Coffee): 
£10 for Magdalen Road Studio or OVADA Associates
£15 for Non-Associates

You do not need to bring a laptop to this session.

The workshop will be delivered by Katie Taylor – Studio Manager at Magdalen Road Studios in Oxford, who has over 15 years experience of working in web design and social media marketing.

Venue: OVADA

Please note that there is no parking available for course participants. This class will be held in our first floor learning space, accessed via stairs only. If this prevents you from attending, please contact us in advance so that we can discuss individual requirements.
