Lucas McLaughlin

Lucas McLaughlin uses photography to create artwork with a focus on natural subjects and their existence in created environments. In his latest work he explores the interplay between nature and the environment that humans construct, plant genetics, and how cultures use examples from nature to understand philosophical and religious ideas. he works with experimental digital and analog photographic equipment, media and printing techniques as well as painting and mixed media.

He writes and produces media about art and design and teaches private art lessons on request. He also provides photographic services in the Oxford area.
