I am a visual artist based in North Oxfordshire. I completed Foundation at Banbury College, BA Fine Art Central St Martins College (2011) and MA Fine Art Digital Camberwell College ( 2016) with Residency Award. My work has been a socially engaged dynamic practice based on interventions and rooted in community engagement with associations to archival narrative.

By encouraging engagement mediated through conversation, simple collaborative making and playful spontaneous interventions I uncovered hidden relationships with collective and personal tradition. My practice allowed the creation of new personal mythologies, embodied and embedded within social, geographical and historical spaces.

I have used traditional and alternative methods of documentation and dissemination to shed light on otherwise unseen aspects of witnessing and participation including live-stream engagement with happenstance audiences, solar and photograms and auto-ethnography.

In early 2019 my work revisited and extended sculptural work (using laboratory glassware) to interrogate more directly, the process the evaluation of experience.

Following this, time spent with artists and scientists from Nanopore Technologies at Ovada Summer Collaborative Residency changed my practice dramatically.
I was able to delve further back into my scientific past with reflections framed through the concepts of Bruno Latour’s Actor Network Theory, my conversations with the scientists and the collaborative images produced.

More recently (October 2019 and on-going) a flexible ‘residency’ at Coucou studios has provided space for further developments of a material practice through 2D and 3D paper-based works examining the possibilities of bio-electronics, whilst still referencing flexible, dynamic archives and dissemination.
