15 July 2017
10am – 1pm
This is the third in a new series of professional development workshops in collaboration with Magdalen Road Studios. The ‘Learn To’ workshops will equip you with essential digital skills to enable you to increase and develop your online presence as an artist.
This workshop will give an overview of the WordPress platform. Ideal for artists that already have a WordPress site but need reminding how to use it, but also perfect as an introduction to setting up a WordPress website or blog.
We will explore the difference between a post and a page, and learn what a plugin/widget is and discover how to use them. There will also be an opportunity to explore setting up and installing a WordPress template.
Cost (includes Tea/Coffee):
£30 for Magdalen Road Studio or OVADA Associates
£40 for Non-Associates
Book alongside the Resizing Images’ Workshop and attend both sessions on 15th July 2017 for a discounted cost of £50 (Associates) or £70 (Non-Associates).
You do not need to bring a laptop to this session.
Booking essential by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
This workshop is strictly limited to 15 places.
The workshop will be delivered by Katie Taylor – Studio Manager at Magdalen Road Studios in Oxford, who has over 15 years experience of working in web design and social media marketing.
