6th February 2020
6:30pm – 9pm
Tutor: John Blythe
The Chemigram process is an experimental method of painting with chemicals on light-sensitive paper. This workshop extends you the offer to manipulate the process of the usual darkroom chemistry, invites you to play with unconventional mark-making and experiment with a non figurative approach to image-making.
Throughout the evening you will be encouraged to experiment with objects to produce intriguing shapes and apply a wide range of resists such as nail polish, wax, syrup, egg, tape to photographic paper. This evening workshop is a chance to experiment, play and embrace the unexpected.
