Welcome!

Since 2004, we have been welcoming audiences to artist-led exhibitions, events, studios and education space

At OVADA we are proud to affirm our commitment to the ongoing work of relationship building and serving the Oxfordshire community

We support efforts to foster honest and respectful conversations, aiming to strengthen peace, friendships and trust

Our hearts go out to innocent civilians affected by conflicts worldwide, and we call for an end to all forms of conflict and for International Law to be respected

We are committed to creating a welcoming space in our gallery, studios and workshops where artists from all backgrounds can freely express their concerns about global conflicts and social or political issues

We emphasise the importance of respecting diverse viewpoints and fostering an inclusive environment

We do not condone racism and any form of discrimination including race, gender, religion or sexual orientation

Our goal is to ensure that everyone feels welcome and valued in our community

We are determined to not let anyone divide us!

  • Since 2004, OVADA has been welcoming audiences to artist-led exhibitions, events, studios and our educational activities

OVADA is an artist-led centre in Oxford with a unique warehouse gallery, studios and a flexible space for workshops and residencies

Our cultural programme celebrates inclusivity and diversity - we encourage work that is innovative and socially engaged

Ovada supports creatives in the community at all levels, from those thinking about making art to our studio holders, Associate Artists and resident and exhibiting artists

Our goal is to ensure that everyone feels welcome and valued in our community

  • We offer an in-house programme of exhibitions, events and workshops

We aim to work with people who haven’t had access to cultural opportunities and do this in a spirit of co-production through exhibitions, commissions, events and engagement activities

  • Our goals for the next 5 years include:

    • Continue to nurture South Asian visual culture in Oxford through social and cultural activities which create spaces where South Asian people can see themselves reflected in the arts

    • Provide social, cultural and community activities for our neighbours in St Ebbe’s and St Thomas

    • Continue to work collaboratively with our Associate Artists and wider OVADA community

  • At OVADA we are proud to affirm our commitment to the ongoing work of relationship building and serving the Oxfordshire community

We are proud to be a part of the Oxford Cultural Anti-Racism Alliance and have signed the Manifesto for Radical Change

We are also a signatory on the Green Arts Charter for Oxfordshire towards climate justice and a zero carbon future

We are determined to not let anyone divide us!
