Kith & Kin are a new Oxford collective who share a love of community and of sharing their skills!

Made up of 4 practising artists, Issy Miller, Miranda Miller, Anna Muddiman and Lois Muddiman, they are both Kith (Friends and Neighbours) and Kin (Mothers and Daughters)

This three day takeover will host workshops for families and friends in February Half Term, offering a fun introduction to working with Willow, Clay or Silk

Choose from Clay, Silk or Willow, or do all 3:

Weds 18 Feb Clay Workshop

Discover the basics of working with clay as you learn how to wedge, roll and join. Slab-build and decorate a small terracotta pot, then stack pots together to create a unique Family Tree.

Thurs 19 Feb Silk Painting Workshop

Explore the art of silk painting as you learn how to stretch silk, use resist techniques, and create beautiful, vibrant designs.

Fri 20 Feb Willow Lantern Workshop

Learn how to shape and manipulate willow withies to form a frame, then cover it with specialist wet tissue paper and decorate it to create a glowing lantern.

All workshops run from 10am to 4pm with an lunchbreak from 1pm - 2pm

The workshops are for all levels including beginners
