We all benefit from this act of support and solidarity

  • An art biennale, is a large-scale - often international - exhibition of contemporary art that takes place every two years. The most well known example is the Venice Biennale.

These events showcase current artistic practices, serve as platforms for cultural dialogue and experimentation.

  • Defiance, determination, celebration and solidarity.

“The Gaza Biennale marks a creative step outside the traditional frameworks of exhibitions. It reflects the sensitivity and specificity of our situation, making it an urgent and exceptional event. At the heart of the artistic purpose is the struggle of a people to survive.” - Gaza Biennale

  • Visit the Gaza Biennale website as well as their instagram

  • The Gaza Biennale is exclusively platforming Palestinian artists living in Gaza and directly affected by the genocide.

This is not an opportunity for other artists to showcase their work.

  • Most volunteer slots are 3 hours long, but there is some flexibility. What we need is commitment and reliability.

Install and deinstall shifts may be longer.

The exhibition is running for 5 weeks and we would like volunteers who can commit to several shifts over the course of the exhibition as we will need to induct and train all the volunteers.

If you cannot offer time, fundraising and offering resources is much appreciated.
