Pumpkin Party & Double Double Toil and Trouble Exhibition
Pumpkin Party was an evening of art and entertainment, featuring a selection of activities and works by Oxford based artists, drawing on the dark, folk horror, occult mystery and things that go bump in the night. OVADA hosted its Halloween Pumpkin Party on Friday 31 October 2025.
👻 Family Fun Afternoon (3pm–6pm)
The first half of the event focused on children and families, with a mix of activities including a Trick‑or‑Treat Hub, a costume contest, face painting, family games, arts & crafts and creative workshops.
🦇 Spooky After‑Hours & Double Double Toil and Trouble (6pm–9pm)
In the evening, the event shifted into Spooky After-Hours with a more atmospheric programme featuring Halloween cocktails, alongside open mic and live music, art performances and a prize for best dressed.
Visitors were also invited to explore the accompanying exhibition, Double Double Toil and Trouble, featuring a selection of work by Oxford‑based artists.
Curated by Audrey Baldwin and Sarah Catterall, the exhibition showcased a selection of works exploring themes of folk horror, occult mystery and the uncanny.
Participating artists included: Amelia Sleight, Angelica McNerny, Audrey Baldwin, Drew Chasse, Edmund Spencer, Finn Tysoe, Frances Burton, Graham Wilkins, Isabele Oxford, Jess Ormerod, Laura Jagger, Lucy Robinson, Mathilde Darton, Mita Vaghela, Naomi Morris, Poppy Blossom‑Doherty, Rachel Dixon, Sarah Catterall and Moly Palmrock.
