Evocation brings you a new group exhibition titled Discontinued
Discontinued is presented to you by art collective Evocation, made up of seven students
from The Ruskin School of Art; this marks the collective’s debut exhibition. Founded by
Phoebe Birch, Evocation emerged as a convergence of practices shaped through shared
moments of reflection.
The group forms around a shifting set of encounters and attempts to
provide provisional spaces in which these conversations, alignments and frictions can arise.
The artists include Ben Adams, Charlie Pellow, Eimear White, Lillian Tagg, Naia
Searight, Phoebe Birch, and Vita Sunshine Bannister. Bringing together work across
painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and textiles, Discontinued presents an
intersection of distinct artistic practices.
Within this shared space, the artists explore connections between their approaches, drawing bridges between materials, processes, and ideas. The exhibition signals an ongoing process of responding to one another and to the environments in which these practices unfold.
