Sarah Christie is an artist and educator working mainly in clay. She has a strong interest in material interactions, emergence and the senses, and works with clay in a variety of states, from liquid to dust. Breakage, fracture and instability are common threads in her work, and some of her most recent work has been site-specific and ephemeral.
